ARGS Residency

Located in Petersburg, Virginia, the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School is the only full-time governor’s school in the state devoted to the fine arts and technology.

 

From acting to playwriting, printmaking to programming, sculpture to ballet, we offer diverse opportunities for over 300 students, who come from fourteen districts throughout central and southern Virginia.

 

Located near historic Civil War battlefields and monuments, our school is close to bus lines and local airports.
